Hello everyone. I have a doubt that this slowing down my work. We are shooting an episode of a TV series in 3D. I have an Avid Media Composer 4.

I imported the material into the avid. I have not conform in Metafuze because the time codes of the two cameras are different there is a gap of 3 frames. I have edited on the timeline and I put a wipe to see the two eyes. I see on the monitor is material 2d. If I connect a laptop to monitor 3d if you let me see the material in 3d but not through the Nitris DX.

What is the solution to see the material on the monitor 3d through the Nitris DX? Please tell me how you managed to get 3d signal Nitris DX to view on a 3D monitor. I have been unable. I tried to do this through software, without the Nitris DX and it worked, but can not get hdmi output of Nitris DX, output interlaced 3d signal.

Does your monitor allow you to choose what type you are sending it? I know the JVC let me set it for the type I was sending. Looks like it only supports interlaced. I could then edit my video with these clips, create mixdowns and finally export left and right video’s, to be processed further.

For one, it has no audio tracks, just one video track. But most important, when I check it on my preview window and set it to 3D red-cyan anaglyph or any other 3D setting, the image remains 2D.

I have been playing the stereo content with MC3. We are using Mesia at the moment but are switching over to mac in two stereooscopic.

We already have a lot of stereoscopic content so all we had to do was sterescopic it to a stereo format that the MC likes. It looks really good. We are currently working on getting the content to play back avid media composer 8 stereoscopic free our screening room but there is no off the shelf item sgereoscopic make this happen yet at least that I have access to.

Regarding differences between PC and Mac I don’t think there will be much a difference but I won’t know for sure for another couple of weeks. I don’t know avid media composer 8 stereoscopic free there is any documentation.

We figured it out through trial and error. The most important thing to understand is the stereoscopic format. It is no different than any other DNxHD footage.

I recently upgraded from Avid MC 6. It produces 3D. Aviv far, I’ve only managed to work with them, by following a painstaking and extremely time consuming workflow of dividing the 3D streams in Sony Vegas, thereby producing a “left stream” and a “right stream”, then importing those in Avid and populating S3D groups, thus combining the two again.
